I love this stadium because of how much room you have when you sit down and the bathrooms are close. I don't like having to drive around the school to get in.

So, some reason Dekalb County Parks and Recreation decided to vote for Bib County park and Recs to hold the district track meet. It’s a complete mess No outside food and drink, so they want kids that are running and sitting in the Sun for over 8 hours to eat concession stand food, because why care about kids health like we don’t already have the largest health disparities. That includes no water, so they are forcing athletes to spend $3 on water bottles. Also, it’s an hour past start time and the line is the parking lot is still around the lot and they haven’t even start yet. They truly should be ashamed of themselves. They all obviously care more about the money than the health and wellness of the children. We have a team of 60 athletes and are not buying one thing from these concessions. They are now saying that parents can’t step outside the gate to see their kids compete in throwing without paying again to get back in. This is truly the worst field that we ever used, and as parents we will protest if we’re asked to bring our athletes back to a stadium that cares more about dollars than they do about the health, wellness, and safety of the athletes!!

This was my first time at this tax payer paid venue, and likely my last. It was the most disorganized setup I've ever experienced. Every attendee was forced to walk across the front parking lot and enter through one of two gates at the back of the building, which was approximately 1.5 miles away. Given that this game determined which school would advance to the championships in Atlanta, they knew it would draw an enormous crowd. And it did—there was standing room only on the home side. The line to get in was an hour long (yes, I timed it!). There was a very accessible front gate that was locked and not used until one intelligent individual decided to open it for us to leave. It was not utilized for entry! This was an advance purchase ticket event, so there was no need to handle cash. The reason for the long wait was that only one person was scanning tickets while another was announcing entry procedures. Meanwhile, five employees were sitting idly 20 minutes back near the locked bathrooms (which were unavailable to anyone in line). They could have been making announcements at that time to help alleviate the bottleneck at the gate. It was clear that there was no preparation for th

Howard JV's won that made it extra special. They took my water away at the gate, saying no outside beverages are allowed in. None of the concession stands were open. That's Bibb County School system at its finest.
